Minera Antucoya, of the Chilean company Antofagasta Minerals , and the collaborating company Epiroc recycled 43.5 tons of steel through a circular economy project that aims to give a new use to drilling materials from the mine area that have already reached their useful life.

Lithium Argentina announced Sam Pigott as president and chief executive officer (CEO) of the company. The decision will be effective on March 18, 2024. Pigott will also join the Board of Directors of Lithium Argentina. He will succeed John Kanellitsas, the company's interim chairman, president and CEO, who will continue his role as executive chairman of the Board.
